Kralj & Kim Miller “In Public” at INOVA
In their first collaboration, Kim Miller and Gigante’s Isabelle Kralj are developing a new performance piece, based upon Soviet poet Vladimir Mayakovsky’s Mystery-Bouffe, first staged in 1918. Mayakovsky believed that future performers of Mystery-Bouffe should change the content, making it contemporary, immediate, up-to-the-minute, and so Miller and Kralj have created their own brand-new version, titled, IN PUBLIC, which will be presented in UWM’s contemporary art gallery INOVA as part of the Martha Wilson Exhibit. Rounding off the evening will be Decision is a Choice, created and performed by Theresa Columbus. The event is free of charge and open to the public.
