GIGANTE TOURS SLOVENIA

Theatre Gigante is thrilled to announce their upcoming Slovenian Tour this October!
Gigante is part of yearlong festivities taking place in Maribor and throughout Slovenia, in the year that Maribor has been named the 2012 European Capital of Culture.
The company will perform THREE OTHER SISTERS, written by Artistic Directors Isabelle Kralj & Mark Anderson, based on an old Montenegrin legend about three sisters all in love with the same Sea Captain.

Neither here …

This weekend, a new theater/movement work, titled, “Neither here…”, created by  Gigante Directors Isabelle Kralj and Mark Anderson, will premiere at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.  One of the results of this summer’s busy schedule, Isabelle and Mark collaborated with friend and colleague, Cynthia Thompson, Professor of Dance at JMU, to create this soulful solo for her, depicting the pain of immigration and the loss of home.
